Hi, I’m Katie - the face behind Escapology Travel. I'm a mummy of two and a serious adventurer at heart!

Travel has always been in my blood. Growing up in a family of avid explorers, my childhood was filled with tales of exotic destinations and thrilling adventures. My grandparents explored the streets of Bangkok, hiked the trails of Machu Picchu, and visited hard to reach destinations like Papua New Guinea long before travel became as accessible at it is today. My parents continued this legacy, turning every holiday into an exciting adventure, whether it was a grand tour of Australia and New Zealand or a cultural immersion in the heart of Central America. These experiences instilled in me a deep-seated love for travel and an unquenchable curiosity about the world.

This passion has naturally led me to pursue a career as an independent travel agent. I wanted to share my love of exploration with others and help them create their own unforgettable memories. But more than just a love for travel, I bring with me a strong dedication to high quality customer service. I believe that the finer details are what make a journey truly special. Whether it’s finding the perfect boutique hotel with a view, arranging a surprise dinner on a secluded beach, or ensuring seamless transfers in a bustling city, I thrive on making every aspect of a trip exceptional.
